A mintáról:

A torockói hímzések régi magyar hagyományokat őriznek, keresztszemes és lapos öltésekkel is készülnek motívumai. Gyakori eleme a liliom, aminek jelentése sokrétű, a tisztaság, a nőiség, ugyanakkor a termékenység jelképe is. A levelek helyébe olykor kismadár feje kerül, a hulláminda végére pedig kígyófej, ami egyfajta őrzőállatként szerepel a mintákon.
